Having my photo taken with Emily was unlike any experience I have ever had. Though I grew up in front of cameras -- from hair and lifestyle modeling to dance and acting school -- I rarely had a positive experience when someone else was taking pictures of me. Fear, doubt, judgment, and discouragement would almost always creep in.

 

This all changed when I had my photos taken by Emily. I honestly didn't have one negative feeling throughout the entire shoot. Emily knows what she is doing and is incredibly gifted at her craft, but is not egotistical about it. She meets you where you are. There's no scary standard to meet and because of that who you REALLY are gets captured, which is ultimately the goal. 

 

Emily is incredibly encouraging -- she would often stop just to gasp at how beautiful she thought the pictures were; she really knows how to make people feel loved and comfortable... something that this world needs more of!
