September Elopement | Central Park, NYC

What an absolutely stunning couple! I mean, WOW! I think I audibly gasped when the bride arrived in her gorgeous gown. From the stunning bridal veil to the gorgeous florals, this Central Park elopement was a photographer's dream!

We had the most heavenly sunny September afternoon (like, can't even feel the air on your skin, because it's literally the ideal temperature) The father of the bride arranged a pedicab for his daughter as a charming transport up to Cop Cot where the official ceremony would take place. The bride and groom had a small group of their closest family and friends present, one of their dear friends sang Stevie Wonder, and Mr. Big, (the cat) brought the rings down the aisle. Perfection!

I was so touched in a moment when the mother of the groom approached me to say "thank you" and express her desire that God would be glorified in the wedding ceremony and in the marriage! How amazing is that?! Pastor Sharon gave a beautiful word about the sacred covenant of marriage. I love it when my couples understand the weight and importance of what they are stepping into (two becoming one!)

After the bride and groom said "I do", we took a few moments to capture some absolutely stunning bridal portraits - true confessions, I was totally geeking out inside. (I think you'll see why!) Next, the newlyweds enjoyed popping some champagne and their first dance together as husband and wife! The evening ended with a beautiful intimate dinner at Pinto Garden in the West Village.

I'm so honored to be able to help people celebrate their special moments in this time!
