Family Sessions
To my incredible NY mamas,
(because you are LITERALLY superheros on E-V-E-R-Y level)

You have a million photos of your kids on your phone, but you aren't in any of them (lol).
You desperately want to capture your kiddos before you blink and they're heading off to college.
​
You also have a very small window before someone gets tired, hungry, or (ahem) has other basic needs that require your attention.
​
​
That's where I come in.
​
I am going to meet you right where you are and photograph the love and connection you share with your children. We'll capture those adoring looks you give them every day inside your home that maybe no one sees, but that are providing the nurturing love your kids need to become who they are uniquely destined to be! (#nbd)

Think of me as a good friend, coming to spend some time with your family with my camera.
We'll spend a lovely time together at a location of your choice. I'll guide and direct you just enough to get your family in the perfect spot to capture your love in front of a beautiful backdrop (I know all the best spots in Central Park!)

For the most part, I'll sit back, and let you play and love on each other so I can capture that genuine connection, and your family's unique personality.

This is also your time to kick back and have a little fun, maybe dress up a bit! After all of the work you put into caring for your kiddos, you deserve to feel like the amazing rockstar that you are!

So your husband's not super crazy about his closeup? Don't worry -- I'll direct you guys to help put you at ease. He'll be whipping out all his dad jokes in no time. You'll both have so much fun enjoying the time with your kiddos, you might even forget I'm 6 feet behind you clicking away and capturing the moment of him tossing your youngest above his head!

You'll get to choose your season and your style.
Are you fall foliage all the way, or do you gush for all those pastel spring florals? I'm a summer girl, myself -- can't get enough of that golden fireball in the sky (otherwise known as the sun).
​
Central Park is my favorite location for shooting families. I know all the best spots for every season! (those Cherry Blossoms at 86th street tho....)

As a photographer who
I seem to have been wired with a built in kid-magnet feature,
which comes in handy when you are seeking to capture their joyful, spunky personalities on camera. I don't know why or how they are obsessed with looking straight into the lens of my camera, but I don't ask questions... I just love knowing that I'm able to capturing the authentic personality of your kiddos.
I'm all about capturing the love and connection you share as a family. (I seriously have the best job ever!) Kids grow up so quickly, and I so want to capture these precious moments for you to remember them at every stage!

Pricing + Details

1 hour session | 45+ images | $300 session fee
The session fee includes our session time together at an outdoor location of your choice (approximately 60 minutes) + all of your hand-edited images (45+) uploaded to a beautiful personalized online gallery approximately 2 weeks after your session.
​
The session fee does not include any digital files or printed photographic materials. If you are interested in receiving digital files, printed photographic materials, or other a la carte selections from our time together, those can be purchased through one of the collections. You'll be able to select the collection that works best for you once you have viewed your gallery.
​
Session fee includes up to 5 family members. For sessions including more than 5 people, there will be an additional fee of $50/person.

Family Collections range from $750 - $1800

Emily is the best! We hired her for a family session and could not be happier with the experience and the final photos. She spent so much time before the shoot scouting the location at the time of day we would be meeting to get the best light. Our daughter was 5 and son was 8 months at the time of the shoot and she captured both of their personalities so perfectly. She was warm, thoughtful, patient, professional, and just a joy to be with for a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon. She listened to all of our desires for what we wanted to see and got to know us well enough to capture shots we never would have thought of but are now some of our favorites. Emily was a dream to work with. She's a gifted photographer and an extremely kind-hearted person.
